Abstract
We give a proof of the Marker-Steinhorn Theorem which fills a gap in previous proofs of the result.

Identified a gap in the proof in the previous version, which is also present in the original proofs of the theorem. Rewrote the paper to fix this gap. I have two family names: And\'ujar Guerrero. The BibTeX citation generated by arXiv incorrectly outputs "And\'ujar" as a middle name
