The knot invariant associated to two-parameter quantum algebras

Abstract

Using the skew-Hopf pairing, we obtain R\mathcal{R}-matrix for the two-parameter quantum algebra Uv,tU_{v,t}. We further construct a strict monoidal functor T\mathcal{T} from the tangle category (OTa,,)(\mathrm{OTa},\otimes, \emptyset) to the category (Mod,,Q(v,t))(\mathrm{Mod},\otimes, \mathbb{Q}(v,t)) of Uv,tU_{v,t}-modules . As a consequence, the quantum knot invariant of the tangle LL of type (n,n)(n,n) is obtained by the action of T\mathcal{T} on the closure L~\tilde{L} of LL.
