Abstract
The fermionic R\'enyi entanglement entropy is studied for causal diamonds in two-dimensional Minkowski spacetime. Choosing the quasi-free state describing the Minkowski vacuum with an ultraviolet regularization, a logarithmically enhanced area law is derived.
