Abstract

We characterize all pairs (A(\mathcal{A},B)\mathcal{B}) of generalized Riemann differences for which A\mathcal{A}-differentiability implies B\mathcal{B}-differentiability. Two generalized Riemann derivatives A\mathcal{A} and B\mathcal{B} are equivalent if a function has a derivative in the sense of A\mathcal{A} at a real number xx if and only if it has a derivative in the sense of B\mathcal{B} at xx. We determine the equivalence classes for this equivalence relation.
