Supersymmetry without R--Parity

Abstract
In this talk I discuss the motivations for supersymmetry, focussing on models with broken R-parity and lepton number. After describing the main theoretical features of these models, I discuss some of the signals expected at colliders such as Tevatron, LEP II, NLC and LHC.
