Some results on the distinction of Higgs boson models

High Energy Physics - Phenomenology 2007-05-23 v1

Abstract

We present results on the analysis of the ratio of branching ratios R=BR(H>bbˉ)/BR(H>τ+τ)R=BR(H->b\bar{b})/BR(H->\tau^+\tau^-) of Higgs boson decays as a discriminant quantity between supersymmetric and non-supersymmetric models. A detailed analysis in the effective Lagrangian approach shows how one could discriminate between models at the Large Hadron Collider and the e+ee^+e^- Linear Collider at 500 GeV center of mass energy.
