Abstract
Solutions of the Dirac equation with spin and pseudospin symmetry for the scalar and vector trigonometric scarf potential in -dimensions within the framework of an approximation scheme to the centrifugal barrier are obtained. The energy spectral and the two-component spinor eigenfunctions are obtained. The bound state energy levels for various values of dimension , , and the potential range parameter are also presented.
