Single sneutrino production at hadron colliders

High Energy Physics - Phenomenology 2009-11-10 v3

Abstract

We study the production of a single sneutrino in association with one or two bb-quarks at hadron colliders, in the framework of an R-parity violating supersymmetric model. We find that at the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) four bb final states are promising with efficient b-tagging. l+ll^+l'^- decay modes of the sneutrino can also be viable for detection at the LHC. However, the branching ratio for rare γγ\gamma\gamma decay channel is too small to be seen.
