Sharp finiteness principles for Lipschitz selections

Abstract

Let (M,ρ)(M,\rho) be a metric space and let YY be a Banach space. Given a positive integer mm, let FF be a set-valued mapping from MM into the family of all compact convex subsets of YY of dimension at most mm. In this paper we prove a finiteness principle for the existence of a Lipschitz selection of FF with the sharp value of the finiteness constant.
