Semisimple symmetric contact spaces

Abstract

We classify contact manifolds (M,D)(M,\mathcal D) which are homogeneous under a connected semisimple Lie group GG, and symmetric in the sense that there exists a contactomorphism of (M,D)(M,\mathcal D) normalizing GG, fixing a point oo in MM and restricting to minus identity along Do\mathcal D_o.
