Abstract
We introduce a self-adjoint time operator on the weighted energy space . Under mild conditions on the weight (positivity, local absolute continuity, and uniform bounds at large ), we prove that is essentially self-adjoint. A simple unitary conjugation carries back to , which in turn leaves the Hamiltonian spectrum unbounded.
