Relations between e, $\pi$, golden ratios and $\sqrt{2}$

General Mathematics 2026-01-21 v4

Abstract

We write out relations between the base of natural logarithms (ee), the ratio of the circumference of a circle to its diameter (π\pi), the golden ratios (Φp\Phi_p) of the additive pp-sequences, and the ratio of the diagonal of a square to its side (2\sqrt{2}). An additive pp-sequence is a natural extension of the Fibonacci sequence in which every term is the sum of pp-previous terms given p1p \ge 1 initial values called seeds.
