Regular Algebraic $K$-theory for groups -- Part I

K-Theory and Homology 2024-10-02 v1 Group Theory

Abstract

Regular algebraic KK-theory for groups is a homology theory for discrete groups closely connected (but different from) group homology. It also gives a version of algebraic KK-theory for rings by the simple functorial mapping assigning to a ring RR the (perfect>) commutator subgroup E(R)E ( R ) of the infinitedimensional general linear group over RR.
