Recent D0 Measurements of Forward-Backward Asymmetries for $p\overline{p}\rightarrow B^\pm, \Lambda_b^0,$ and $\Lambda_s^0$ Production

Abstract

The Forward-Backward Asymmetries in the production of ppB±,Λb0,p\overline{p}\rightarrow B^\pm, \Lambda_b^0, and Λs0\Lambda_s^0 particles for rapidities |y| < 2 are measred by D0 for ppp\overline{p} collisions at s\sqrt{s} = 1.96 TeV at the Fermilab Tevatron. AFB(B±)A_{FB}(B^\pm) and AFB(Λb0)A_{FB}(\Lambda_b^0) are consistent with zero, while AFB(Λs0)A_{FB}(\Lambda_s^0) exhibits a statistically significant rise with increasing |y|.
