R Parity Violation: Constraints and Implications

Abstract
The constraints on trilinear R parity violating couplings following from ({\em i}) the neutrino mass resulting due to the induced vacuum expectation value for the sneutrino and (ii) the charm squark interpretation for the HERA anomalous events are discussed in this talk.}
