Quantum Real Projective Space, Disc and Sphere

Quantum Algebra 2007-05-23 v1 K-Theory and Homology Operator Algebras

Abstract

We define the CC^*-algebra of quantum real projective space RPq2\R P_q^2, classify its irreducible representations and compute its KK-theory. We also show that the qq-disc of Klimek-Lesniewski can be obtained as a non-Galois Z2\Z_2-quotient of the equator Podle\'s quantum sphere. On the way, we provide the Cartesian coordinates for all Podle\'s quantum spheres and determine an explicit form of isomorphisms between the CC^*-algebras of the equilateral spheres and the CC^*-algebra of the equator one.
