$q$-Chaos

Operator Algebras 2008-01-25 v1 Functional Analysis

Abstract

We consider the LpL_p norm estimates for homogeneous polynomials of qq-gaussian variables (1q1-1\leq q\leq 1). When 1<q<1-1<q<1 the LpL_p estimates for 1p21\leq p \leq 2 are essentially the same as the free case (q=0q=0), whilst the LpL_p estimates for 2p2\leq p \leq \infty show a strong qq-dependence. Moreover, the extremal cases q=±1q = \pm 1 produce decisively different formulae.
