Abstract

We propose to utilize the polarization information of the ZZ bosons in ZZZZ production, via the gluon-gluon fusion process ggZZgg\to ZZ, to probe the ZttˉZt\bar{t} gauge coupling. The contribution of longitudinally polarized ZZ bosons is sensitive to the axial-vector component (ata_t) of the ZttˉZt\bar{t} coupling. We demonstrate that the angular distribution of the charged lepton from ZZ boson decays serves well for measuring the polarization of ZZ bosons and the determination of ata_t. We show that ZZZZ production via the ggZZgg\to ZZ process complement to ZttˉZt\bar{t} and tZjtZj productions in measuring the ZttˉZt\bar{t} coupling at hadron colliders.
