Abstract
Using the recently proposed effective vertex, we investigate the production of from gluon fusion in collisions. We show that measuring production cross-section at moderate yields direct information on the small gluon distribution function of the nucleus. At RHIC, the smallest accessible turns out to be and at LHC, it is . Therefore, is an excellent probe of the Color Glass Condensate.
