Power-Law Running of the Higgs Mass

The renormalized scalar mass squared is a function of the energy scale and power-runs as its square: it is O$(M_{GUT}^2)$ at $M_{GUT}^2$ and O$(m_W^2)$ at $m_W^2$. The 28 orders of discrepancy is naturally explained by the loop-correction factor of the Standard Model, dominated by the top quark Yukawa coupling $16\pi^2/(N_c y_t^2 \ln10)$.
