Abstract
The CP violation asymmetry parameters in nonleptonic decays are presently being measured by the HyperCP experiment. In the study of these CP violation parameters, the strong and phase shifts for the final-state interactions are needed. In this work, these phases are calculated using an effective chiral Lagrangian model, that considers , (1385), and the -term, in the intermediate states. The -term is calculated in terms of the scalar form factor of the baryon.
