Phenomenological aspects of supersymmetry

High Energy Physics - Phenomenology 2007-05-23 v1

Abstract

We discuss the possible applications supersymmetric theories might find in the field of elementary particle physics. The supersymmetric generalization of the SU(3)×SU(2)×U(1)SU(3)\times SU(2)\times U(1) standard model is discussed in detail. Special attention has been devoted to the question of gauge coupling constant unification in the framework of supersymmetric grand unified models.
