Permutation Symmetry for Neutrino and Charged-Lepton Mass Matrices

High Energy Physics - Phenomenology 2009-10-31 v1

Abstract

The permutation symmetry S3S_3 is appplied to obtain two equal Majorana neutrino masses, while maintaining three different charged-lepton masses and suppressing neutrinoless double beta decay. The resulting radiative splitting of the two neutrinos is shown to be suitable for solar neutrino vacuum oscillations.
