Partial Dynamical Symmetries in Nuclei

Nuclear Theory 2013-04-19 v2

Abstract

Partial dynamical symmetries (PDS) are shown to be relevant to the interpretation of the K=02K=0_2 band and to the occurrence of F-spin multiplets of ground and scissors bands in deformed nuclei. Hamiltonians with bosonic and fermionic PDS are presented.
