Overview of IR-Improvement in Precision LHC/FCC Physics

Abstract

We present an overview of the use of IR-improvement of unintegrable singularities in the infrared regime via amplitude-based resummation in QED×QCD\mathrm{QED} \times \mathrm{QCD} \subset SU(2)L×U1×SU(3)c\mathrm{SU}(2)_L \times \mathrm{U}_1 \times \mathrm{SU}(3)^c. We work in the context of precision LHC/FCC physics. While illustrating such IR-improvement in specific examples, we discuss new results and new issues.
