On traceability of claw-o_{-1}-heavy graphs

Abstract

A graph is called traceable if it contains a Hamilton path, i.e., a path passing through all its vertices. Let GG be a graph on nn vertices. GG is called claw-o1o_{-1}-heavy if every induced claw (K1,3K_{1,3}) of GG has a pair of nonadjacent vertices with degree sum at least n1n-1 in GG. In this paper we show that a claw-o1o_{-1}-heavy graph GG is traceable if we impose certain additional conditions on GG involving forbidden induced subgraphs.
