On the stability of first order PDEs associated to vector fields

Abstract

Let MM be a manifold, VV be a vector field on MM, and BB be a Banach space. For any fixed function f:MBf:M\rightarrow B and any fixed complex number λ\lambda, we study Hyers-Ulam stability of the global differential equation Vy=λy+fVy=\lambda y+f.
