On the nilradical of a Leibniz algebra

Rings and Algebras 2021-03-16 v1 Group Theory

Abstract

The purpose of this short note is to correct an error which appears in the literature concerning Leibniz algebras LL: namely, that N(L/I)=N(L)/IN(L/I)=N(L)/I where N(L)N(L) is the nilradical of LL and II is the Leibniz kernel.
