Abstract

We prove the multivariate Fujiwara bound for exponential sums: for a dd-variate exponential sum ff with scaling parameter μ\mu, if xx is contained in the amoeba A(f)\mathscr{A}(f), then the distance from xx to the Archimedean tropical variety associated to ff is at most dd2log(2+3)/μd \sqrt{d}\, 2\log(2 + \sqrt{3})/ \mu. If ff is polynomial, then the bound can be improved to dlog(2+3)d \log(2 + \sqrt{3}).
