On the Hyper Zagreb index of certain generalized thorn graphs

Abstract

Let G=(V,E)G=(V,E) be a graph with nn vertices and mm edges. The hyper Zagreb index of GG, denoted by HM(G)HM(G), is defined as HM(G)=uvE(G)[dG(u)+dG(v)]2HM(G) =\sum\limits_{uv \in E(G)}\left[d_{G}(u)+d_G(v)\right]^{2} where dG(v)d_G(v) denotes the degree of a vertex vv in GG. In this paper we compute the hyper Zagreb index of certain generalized thorn graphs.
