Abstract

We study the Cauchy problem for biwave type equations with coefficients depending only on time. Assuming $\mathcal{C}^\kappa$ regularity of the principal symbol and suitable Levi conditions on the lower order terms, we establish well-posedness in Gevrey spaces.
