On the generalized Hurwitz equations and the Baragar-Umeda equations

Abstract
We consider the generalized Hurwitz equation a1x12+⋯+anxn2=dx1⋯xn−k and the Baragar-Umeda equation ax2+by2+cz2=dxyz+e for solvability in integers.
