On the $0^{++}$ Glueball Mass

Abstract
An approximate vacuum wave functional is proposed for -dimensional Yang-Mills theories. Using , one can compute the glueball mass in terms of the string tension. By using the idea of dimensional reduction, a prediction for can be made in dimensions. One finds GeV.
