Abstract

Let RR be a finite ring and rRr\in R. The rr-noncommuting graph of RR, denoted by ΓRr\Gamma_R^r, is a simple undirected graph whose vertex set is RR and two vertices xx and yy are adjacent if and only if [x,y]r[x,y] \neq r and r-r. In this paper, we study several properties of ΓRr\Gamma_R^r. We show that ΓRr\Gamma_R^r is not a regular graph, a lollipop graph and complete bipartite graph. Further, we consider an induced subgraph of ΓRr\Gamma_R^r (induced by the non-central elements of RR) and obtained some characterizations of RR.
