On Quantum Field Brownian Motion, Decoherence and Semiquantum Chaos

Abstract

Entropy production in quantum (field) systems requiring environment-induced decoherence is described in a Gaussian variational approximation. The new phenomenon of Semiquantum Chaos is reported.
