Abstract
We consider the simplest model for - linear growth of resistivity in metals. It is shown that the so called "Planckian" limit for the temperature dependent relaxation rate of electrons follows from a certain procedure for representation of experimental data on resistivity and, in this sense, is a kind of delusion.
