We report the first observation of the decay B+→χc0K+ using 21.3 fb−1 of data collected by the Belle detector at the Υ(4S) resonance. The preliminary result for the branching fraction is B(B+→χc0K+)=(8.0−2.4+2.7±1.0±1.1)×10−4 where the first error is statistical, the second is systematic, and the third comes from the uncertainty in the χc0→π+π− branching fraction.
