Nonoblique Effects and Weak-Isospin Breaking from Extended Technicolor

High Energy Physics - Phenomenology 2007-05-23 v1

Abstract

Several aspects of the flavor-diagonal extended technicolor (ETC) gauge boson are reviewed. Among them are an increase of RbR_b that could explain the LEP RbR_b excess, a sizable, positive correction to the τ\tau asymmetry parameter AτA_{\tau}, and a contribution to the weak-isospin breaking ρ\rho parameter that is just barely acceptable by present data.
