Nonexistence of a $\eta NN$ quasibound state

Abstract
We have solved the Faddeev equations for elastic scattering using realistic separable interactions for the and coupled - subsystems. We found that including explicitly the pion channel in the integral equations drastically reduces the attraction that is present in the system. As a consequence, the existence of a quasibound state is excluded by the modern amplitude analysis.
