Abstract

The thermal relaxation time (τκee\tau_{\kappa_{ee}}) for the degenerate electron plasma has been calculated by incorporating non-Fermi liquid (NFL) corrections both for the thermal conductivity and specific heat capacity. Perturbative results are presented by making expansion in T/mDT/m_D with next to leading order corrections (NLO). We see that the NLO NFL corrections further reduce the decrease in relaxation time due to the leading order (LO) correction.
