Neutron oscillation and Baryogenesis from six dimensions

Abstract

Considering a six-dimensional geometry orbifolded on S1/Z2×S1/Z2S^1/Z_2\times S^1/Z_2 with quarks and leptons localised on orthogonal branes, we show that the construction admits observable nnˉn-\bar{n} oscillation while naturally suppressing the proton decay rates. Consistent with other low-energy observables, the model also accommodates baryogenesis at O\mathcal{O}(10 TeV) scale.
