Neel Temperature for Quasi-Two-Dimensional Dipolar Antiferromagnets

Abstract

We calculate the N\'eel temperature TNT_N for two-dimensional isotropic dipolar Heisenberg antiferromagnets via linear spin-wave theory and a high temperature expansion, employing the method of Callen. The theoretical predictions for TNT_N for K2_2MnF4_4, Rb2_2MnF4_4, Rb2_2MnCl4_4 and (CH3_3NH3_3)2_2MnCl4_4 are in good agreement with the measured values.
