MOND, dark matter, and conservation of energy

General Relativity and Quantum Cosmology 2007-10-14 v1 Astrophysics High Energy Physics - Theory

Abstract

The MOND equation maμ(a)=Fm \vec a \mu(a) = \vec F could be transformed to the equivalent form ma=Fm \vec a = \vec{F'}, where \VecF\Vec{F'} is a transformed force. Using this transformation we argue that MOND could not avoid introducing dark matter, and introduces nonconservative terms to the equations of motion.
