Models of torsors over affine spaces

Abstract

Let X:=ARnX:=\mathbb{A}^{n}_{R} be the nn-dimensional affine space over a discrete valuation ring RR with fraction field KK. We prove that any pointed torsor YY over AKn\mathbb{A}^{n}_{K} under the action of an affine finite type group scheme can be extended to a torsor over ARn\mathbb{A}^{n}_{R} possibly after pulling YY back over an automorphism of AKn\mathbb{A}^{n}_{K}. The proof is effective. Other cases, including X=αp,RX=\alpha_{p,R}, will also be discussed.
