Mirror Congruence for Rational Points on Calabi-Yau Varieties

Abstract
Wan conjectures that if and form a strong mirror pair of Calabi-Yau varieties over a finite field with elements, then X and Y have the same number of -rational points modulo . We prove this conjecture under the condition that can be obtained from through quotient construction.
