Matrix-product structure of repeated-root constacyclic codes over finite fields

Abstract

For any prime number pp, positive integers m,k,nm, k, n satisfying gcd(p,n)=1{\rm gcd}(p,n)=1 and λ0Fpm×\lambda_0\in \mathbb{F}_{p^m}^\times, we prove that any λ0pk\lambda_0^{p^k}-constacyclic code of length pknp^kn over the finite field Fpm\mathbb{F}_{p^m} is monomially equivalent to a matrix-product code of a nested sequence of pkp^k λ0\lambda_0-constacyclic codes with length nn over Fpm\mathbb{F}_{p^m}.
