Abstract

We study local derivations on a Block-type Lie algebra $\mathcal B$ . Using the structure of the derivation algebra of $\mathcal B$ and a series of normalizations and coefficient comparisons, we prove that every local derivation on $\mathcal B$ is a derivation.
