List colouring triangle free planar graphs

Abstract

This paper proves the following result: Assume GG is a triangle free planar graph, XX is an independent set of GG. If LL is a list assignment of GG such that L(v)=4\mid L(v)\mid = 4 for each vertex vV(G)Xv \in V(G)-X and L(v)=3\mid L(v)\mid = 3 for each vertex vXv \in X, then GG is LL-colourable.
