Lie Algebroids in the Loday-Pirashvili Category

Abstract
We describe Lie-Rinehart algebras in the tensor category of linear maps in the sense of Loday and Pirashvili and construct a functor from Lie-Rinehart algebras in to Leibniz algebroids.
