Abstract

We present an overview of the extension of Nuclear Lattice Effective Field Theory simulations to the regime of medium-mass nuclei. We focus on the determination of the ground-state energies of the alpha nuclei 16^{16}O, 20^{20}Ne, 24^{24}Mg and 28^{28}Si by means of Euclidean time projection.
